Narrative Reverse

Here we have used Levi Strauss' theory of Binary opposites to create a state of being confusion and disruption. To represent this we edited the footage so it was all in reverse. As well as this we changed the order of the shots to create this distortion and confuse the audience with the order of the shots.
Overall we decided to use Todorovs theory of equilibrium for our music video as this is easier for the audience to understand. As well as this it fits with Goodwin's rules as this then allows for the visuals to relate to the lyrics as it will make sense for the audience.

Through carrying out this task we have decided that the editing technique of reverse will be relevant to our genre and should be used for different effects. However we will still keep the clips in chronological order but just repeat them in a reversed format so the audience do not get confused.
