Representation to taget audience

My previous song was in the rock genre and was called ' What do you want' by Area 52. The image above shows how the audience portrayed the artist to look like in the video. On the left you can see the artist has dark hair, is wearing ripped jeans and a printed t-shirt with dark make up. I feel this image reflects the music genre accurately as the clothing is typical of someone who likes that genre of music. Stereotypically female rock artist would wear dark clothing as well as heavy makeup and so this is an accurate representation of an artist in this genre on this music.

Although it cannot be very well seen the image on the right is also a representation of the artist in the rock genre. The annotations to the drawing indicate she is wearing a leather jacket, shirt and jeans with heavy eyeliner and dark lips as well as dark hair and is in her early 20's. The annotations indicate that this is an accurate representation of the artist as these are common features of people that enjoy rock music, but the drawing itself does not represent this.

In conclusion I think both images are an accurate representation of the artist as they both describe the artists costume and this shows the audience's representation of the artist based on the music they heard.
