Magazine design

We were told to design a layout for a potential magazine advert for our music album. We had to make sure we included all the main aspects of an album advert such as reviews, titles, record labels etc. I have reflected the indie pop genre in my design of an advert by including pastel colours such as pink and blue which are associated with this genre. Similarly, I decided to put a photo of the main artist in the centre of the advert to reflect that she is the main artist. Alternatively, we could have the background of photos of various colours of balloons as this would link to our music video and carry on the theme of the party scenes.
